Postdoctoral and Senior Research Fellowships
If you are looking for post-doctoral opportunities, several schemes are available, depending on your career stage and location. We welcome enquiries from eligible candidates working on topics related to our specific research fields within musicology, ethnomusicology, theory and analysis, cognition, composition and performance, or on related interdisciplinary projects: potential candidates are encouraged to explore the information on our current research on our web site.
In most cases, internal review processes enable us to decide which candidates may be supported, so it is best to contact us as early as possible.
A selection of the schemes we support applications to are listed below:
British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowships
British Academy International Fellowships
Durham Institute of Advanced Study Fellowships
Marie Curie Individual Fellowships
Leverhulme Early Career Fellowships
Leverhulme Visiting Professorships
Details of the application process will be posted here. Potential applications are welcome to make informal contact with a potential host/mentor in their field, or to contact the Director of Research, Professor Nick Collins ([email protected]), with any enquiries.
